I find that changing out accessory pieces often provides a quick change that gets notices, without the fuss and bother of an outright redo. One of the items I enjoy adding to a living room that's lost its appeal, is a square coffee table with storage beneath. It's functional. It's attractive and it provides storage. In others words, you will love it.

Old-fashioned coffee tables were decorative but fairly useless. They were simply rectangle-shaped tables that looked pretty sitting in front of the sofa. Coffee tables are like the stepchildren of furniture selection. Mostly we give our attention to dining room tables and chairs, sofas and bedroom suites, and even entertainment centers.
